Round Modular Bench – 8 Segments

The task was to create a mold for a modular concrete bench consisting of eight segments. When assembled, the bench forms a perfect ring with a diameter of 2.8 meters. The key requirements were precise alignment of the segments, ease of assembly, and reliable performance. An additional design feature was a bottom groove on the outer side of the product (for lighting installation).

We developed a mold for one bench segment with a height of 420 mm, taking into account all technical allowances and draft angles. Special attention was given to geometric accuracy, as the full ring must form a smooth and seamless circle. We decided to make the segment hollow to reduce the weight and cost of the final product.
